Papa John's International opens 100th restaurant in Mexico
(BUSINESS WIRE) - Papa John's International, Inc. (NASDAQ: PZZA), announced the opening of its 100th restaurant in Mexico. The 100th Papa John's is located in Zona Azul in Ciudad Satélite in the Metropolitan area of Mexico City.
Orquest Foods, who has roots in Mexico that date back to 1936 and has been in the food business for the past ten years, is the franchisee of the 100th restaurant. Last year, Papa John's and Orquest announced they had signed a development agreement to build 60 restaurants over the next eight years. The plan is to open seven more stores with Orquest Foods this year.

Papa John's International has more than 1,500 international restaurants, including over 350 restaurants in 16 Latin American countries and is looking for potential franchisees in Brazil, Honduras, Uruguay and the Bahamas.
