Residence Inn is an extended-stay hotel brand owned by Marriott International. Residence Inn competes in the upscale industry segment, along with InterContinental’s Staybridge Suites, Hyatt’s HYATT house, and Homewood Suites by Hilton.

Residence Inn has more than 700 locations worldwide, most of them being domestic. Around 83 percent of these locations are franchised.

In June 2015, the company launched Residence Inn Mix, a social hour offered three nights a week that encourages guests to interact with each other and connect with their destination.
