Company Description

Renaissance is one of 30 brands owned by Marriott, making it a fellow subsidiary of brands like The Ritz-Carlton, Springhill Suites and Courtyard.

This upper-scale hotel and resort brand began as a Ramada holding when the first Ramada Renaissance hotel was built in 1982. Marriott International purchased Renaissance Hotels in 1997. 

Renaissance has units in the U.S. and countries such as Algeria, Kazakhstan and Belgium. All locations offer a Navigators program, where select staff members provide information on the best local features.
