Personalities: Sebastien Page

Ever since he started watching American television shows, such as "Baywatch,"in his native France, sunny California has always fascinated Sebastien Page. "I'm not really proud of that," the marketing director for Source Book Publications, a network of franchise Web sites, admits sheepishly. You may not recognize Page by name, but you will byvoice—he has that great French accent thatwomen love.Source Book is his new position, he was previously with NG Franchise Services.
Lifestyle

Hometown: Liffol le Grand, France. A tiny, 3,000 inhabitant village in the Vosges region. Now my hometown is Encinitas, a little beach town 20 minutes north of San Diego.

Favorite franchised restaurant: McDonald's Big Mac is still my favorite burger (except for the Double Double from In-N-Out).

Favorite reality show: I like the real estate reality TV shows such as "Property Ladder" or "Flip that House." I do watch "Sunset Tan" and "The Girls Next Door" if they're on.

Signature accessory: My iPhone

Most prized possession? My German car

What actor would play you in a film biography? Johnny Depp

What would your last meal be? It would start with snails in garlic sauce and a glass of Muscadet. Then I would have some medium-rare filet mignon with a 1999 Chateau Margaux and I would finish with my Grandma's strawberry pie.

Workstyle

Your 15 minutes of fame: When I was 16, my friends and I had a rock band. I played guitar and vocals. We were terrible, but for some reason we had a little success in our home town.

Best advice you've been given: Don't take anything for granted. It's not because you have something today that you will still have it tomorrow; that's why you have to do your best.

Advice you give: Believe in yourself. If you don't believe in yourself, other people won't believe in you. Don't be scared of failure. You learn more from your mistakes than you do from your successes.

Which talent would you most like to have? I would love to be able to sing right. I am terrible at it. I often sing at the office and I think I am starting to make enemies...

Office decor: I have a very simple, yet practical office, a white board with all my to-do tasks, a map of the world, a caricature of myself that was done at last year's IFA Convention, a certificate from my (former) coworkers for the best memo they've seen at NGFS, a couple of bossman action figures, and a tiny French flag.

How do you de-stress? I go surf. That is without a doubt my favorite thing to do to de-stress. There is no better stress reliever than sitting on my surfboard, looking at the sunset, with a few dolphins swimming around me. The ocean is where I get my best ideas, too.
