Company description
The Days Inn brand was created by Cecil B. Day in 1970 when the lodging industry consisted of just a dozen national brands. His Atlanta-based company, Days Inns of America Inc., began franchising hotels in 1972 and within eight years created a system of more than 300 hotels in the United States and Canada. Wyndham Worldwide’s predecessor acquired the Days Inn brand in 1992.

Days Inn amenities include free Daybreak® Breakfast, high-speed Internet access, SolTerre® bath amenities and free weekday USA TODAY newspaper in the United States or National Post in Canada.
