MFHA Presents Cultural Intelligence Conference

The Multicultural Foodservice & Hospitality Alliance will present its Cultural Intelligence Conference June 25-26 at Bob Evans Farms in New Albany, Ohio.

Bob Evans, a restaurant chain, as well as a processing and retail company, is hosting the event at the founder’s farm in southeastern Ohio, a former stagecoach stop and inn which is on the National Register of Historic Places. Bob Evans’ CEO Steve A. Davis says diversity starts at the top. His board includes two African-Americans and four women, “far better than the average for Fortune 1000 companies,” he says in his welcome letter.

Topics include recruiting and retaining diverse talent, operating profitably in multi-cultural markets and branding your company as a culturally intelligent operation. A state of the industry report is also on tap.

Franchise Times is one of the sponsors of the event.
