Picturing the International Franchise Expo in New York

It was a flashier franchise expo than we've seen in a long time. Samples at the International Franchise Expo in New York earlier in June were of biblical proportions—they just kept feeding the masses. Philly Pretzel Factory had a mini-factory cranking out product for long lines. Russo's Pizza handed out slice after slice of pizza and America's Taco Shop enticed attendees with big bite-size carne asada tacos, complete with mini-lime wedges. And there were more frozen yogurt choices—most serving full-size portions—than one person could possibly eat in a 7-hour shift. 

There were some interesting juxtapositions: The Joint, a chiropractic franchise, was next to The Burger Joint. And the social-sector franchise committee shared booth space at the back of the International Franchise Association’s prominent booth.
