Super 8 Partners with Human Hug Project for Veterans

Published:

Some heartwarming news, Super 8 has partnered with Human Hug Project, an organization founded by combat veterans to bring awareness to PTSD and dole out hugs to at-risk veterans. With this partnership, the company is committing to help the founders, Ian Michael, Gino Greganti and his wife, to accomplish their goal of hugging veterans at every VA Medical Center in the United States.

As part of the partnership, Super 8 has launched “Super 8 Stories: From The Road,” a short video detailing how Human Hug Project got started and how its founders are looking to help other military members and veterans with PTSD.

Included in the company’s release about the partnership, Super 8 also shared its other veteran-related projects that include Veteran Preferred Parking for guests, and a Veteran’s Day discount for active and retired military members and their spouses.

This is just one of many, many examples of the franchise industry going above and beyond for our country’s military veterans—and it’s some great news to enjoy on this fine fall Friday.
