Restaurants Roll Out offers for Veterans Day

Published:

“You served your country, let us serve you,” proclaims the promotion from On the Border Mexican Grill & Cantina. They are offering a free meal to military veterans who present ID or proof of service on Veterans Day, November 11.

They’re not alone. Bar Louie, too, is celebrating Veterans Day with two days of free food. From open to close this Sunday and Monday every Bar Louie location across the country will offer veterans and military personnel a free meal up to a $12 value.

“This is one of our favorite holidays as a brand,” said John Neitzel, CEO. “It’s very important to us to give back.”

A third brand, Champps Americana, is offering veterans and active duty military a free Champps hand-crafted burger and fries all day this Monday.

Many more are getting into the act. As one PR person put it: “I believe our veterans and troops will have plenty of great choices for free food on Veterans Day, and rightly so!”
