Dealmakers, It’s Your Time to Shine in Annual FT Project

The good-looking crew pictured nearby are the folks from FAT Brands, winners of last year’s Deal of the Year award in the Franchise Times Dealmakers project, which recognizes excellence in mergers and acquisitions in the franchising space. 

It’s proving to be a very busy 18 months in M&A this year, and Franchise Times invites applications describing your deal, with nominations open today for next year’s project. Deals in franchising that closed or will close between July 1, 2017, and December 31, 2018, are eligible. Deadline to enter is December 31.

We’re looking for all sorts of complex and high-impact deals, such as strategic investments, private equity plays, franchisee buys and franchisor brand roll-ups from both the seller and buyer side, as well as service providers such as attorneys, investment bankers, accountants and other financiers. 

In January a group of judges will select the winning deals, which will be featured in the April issue of Franchise Times and honored at a gala awards luncheon at the Franchise Times Finance & Growth Conference in Las Vegas, May 7-8, 2019.
