Anytime Fitness hired Mark Daly as national media director. Prior to Anytime Fitness, Daly was an investigative reporter at KARE-TV (NBC affiliate, Minneapolis) for nearly 20 years.
Clarice Turner was appointed president and chief operating officer of Papa Murphy’s. Turner previously worked for Yum! Brands, progressing through a variety of executive management positions with its subsidiary Taco Bell Corporation.
Red Robin Gourmet Burgers named Susan Lintonsmith senior vice president and chief marketing officer. Prior to Red Robin Gourmet Burgers, Lintonsmith was vice president and general manager for WhiteWave Foods’ Horizon Organic brand.
El Pollo Loco promoted five members of its management team. John Phillips was promoted to vice president of franchise restaurant opening group; Mark Hardison to vice president of marketing; Julie Weeks to vice president of communications; Patsy Estis, to vice president of human resources; and Mark Landouw, to director of operations services. These five individuals will play key roles in the company’s national expansion strategy.
Amy Curtis-McIntyre was named chief marketing officer of Jimmy John’s Gourmet Sandwich Shops. Curtis-McIntyre formerly served as vice president of marketing at JetBlue Airways.
Accor North America promoted Robert Moore to senior vice president of technical services and new construction for Accor Business and Leisure. Moore formerly served as vice president of technical services for ABL. The company also promoted Dorina Hertner to director of risk management and Marsha Renyer to director of e-commerce, IDS/GDS. Hertner has over 13 years of experience is risk management. Renyer has nine years of experience in the hospitality industry.
David Ovens was appointed chief marketing officer of Taco Bell Corporation effective August 6, 2007. Ovens previously served as chief marketing officer at Yum! Restaurants International.
CKE Restaurants appointed three new individuals to their management team. Noah Griggs, was named executive vice president of training for Carl’s Jr. and Hardee’s; Bob Starke, executive vice president of Hardee’s Restaurant operations; and Steve Evans, senior vice president of Hardee’s franchise operations.
Michael Yerington was promoted to president of Jackson Hewitt Tax Service, a full service individual federal and state income tax preparation concept. Yerington formerly served as the company’s chief operating officer.
