The gym center franchise Workout Anytime announced the addition of two new team members:  Mark de Gorter as chief operating officer, and Greg Maurer as vice president of fitness, who will help design the brand’s personal-training program.

Chef Dale Miller will consult with the research-and-development department at Wayback Burgers on menu development and innovation. He is tasked with creating dishes to align with current trends, seasonality and brand personality.

Baker & McKenzie, a multinational law firm based in Chicago, hired Stephanie Russ, a senior attorney who specializes in franchise law, for its Dallas office.

Yum Brands, the parent company of such fast- food chains as Taco Bell and KFC, announced  Micky Pant will take over the role of CEO of its China division. Pant formerly served the company’s KFC worldwide division as CEO.

The hotel-management company Wyndham Hotel Group brought on Eduardo Cruz del Rio as vice president of operations for Latin America and the Caribbean.

Jeff Zinn was hired as head of capital markets at ApplePie Capital. ApplePie is a lending firm that caters to the franchising industry. Zinn was managing director at Jefferies & Co., an international investment and securities firm.

The waste management company redbox+ hired  Bill Weber as vice president of franchise support. Before working for redbox+, Weber served more than 10 years as vice president of marketing and advertising for Kitchen Solvers.

Formerly chief development officer at Popeyes, Greg Vojnovic will now serve as chief development officer of the restaurant chain Arby’s, a newly created position reporting directly to CEO Paul Brown.

Blink Fitness, a fitness club and gym center franchise, promoted Executive Vice President Todd Magazine to president.

A conglomerate holding company and franchisor of multiple dry-cleaning concepts, The Huntington Co. hired Steve Lajiness and Josh Titler as new executives in the department of franchise development.

Christina Chambers is the new vice president of franchise development at Huddle House. Chambers has years of experience working with such franchises as Great Wraps and Quiznos.

Cooper’s Hawk Winery & Restaurants appointed John Inserra as its president and chief operating officer. He held leadership positions at The Ritz-Carlton Hotel Co. and Kimpton Hotel and Restaurant Group.

BrightStar Care appointed Steve Schildwachter chief marketing officer and Tom Lehr chief financial officer. Schildwachter was executive vice president and chief marketing officer at advertising technology company, rVue. Lehr was CFO at Adventures in Advertising.

Marilyn Monroe Spas hired former president of Disney Vacation Clubs Jim Lewis to be its new CEO, joining two other executive team members with previous Disney experience.

Aiming to return to its glory days, Shoney’s added Michael Wozniak and Eric Cleveland to its executive team. Wozniak is the new chief operating officer, while Cleveland is executive chef.

Sears Hometown and Outlet Stores hired Michael McCarthy as its new vice president, merchandising and inventory. He has more than 30 years of retail experience, including 28 years with Sears Holdings Corp.

Michael Shutley joined Dunkin’ Brands Group as vice president, federal and state government affairs. Reporting to Karen Raskopf, chief communications officer, Shutley will work closely with senior management to implement the company’s legislative initiatives and advocate for franchisees at all levels of government.

Papa John’s International promoted Robert Thompson to senior vice president of marketing and Edmond Heelan to senior vice president of North American operations and global operations support and training.

Annex Brands promoted Mary Ann Canup to vice president of franchise compliance. Canup started at the company 22 years ago as a part-time receptionist and now oversees franchise registration requirements as well as facilitating franchise resales.
