Circle K ranks No. 2, adding 1,920 units. It’s one of two convenience stores to make the Top 10.
Jan-Pro, the sole cleaning franchise in the top 10, added 1,341 units to rank No. 3.
KFC is No. 4, up 896 units, the best of the rest of the fast-food franchises that round out the top 10.
Domino’s is No.5, up 624 units.
McDonald’s is No. 6, up 503.
Gong Cha is No. 7, up 299 units as it rides the bubble tea and boba tea trend.
Smoothie King is No. 8, up 200 units.
Jersey Mike’s is No. 9, up 178 units.
Wingstop is No. 10, up 153 units.
The Franchise Times Top 400 also measures percentage growth in units, and that ranking puts United Real Estate at No. 1, up 42 percent. Realty One Group follows at 38.6 percent, and Gong Cha is No. 3, with units up 24.9 percent.
