Signing Multi-Unit Operator Boosts Amsterdam Falafelshop

Amsterdam Falafelshop scored a four-store agreement in Washington, D.C., with David Rosenstein, the owner of Metropolitan Restaurant Management and the operator of Popeyes restaurants in and around D.C.

It’s a big boost for the brand, whose CEO, Arianne Bennett, was featured along with her husband and business partner, Scott, in the March issue of Franchise Times. Three stores are open now.

The Bennetts credit their business success in part to their strong marriage, they told Franchise Times’ Laura Michaels. “When you begin to work with each other you really begin to see that your spouse has talents you just didn’t see outside of work,” Scott says.

Arianne said Rosenstein’s signing is a shot in the arm: “Having pros like David on board is a clear validation of the strength of the concept.”
