Company Description
Ohio-based Wendy's is one of the largest burger chains in the world. Founded by the iconic restaurateur Dave Thomas in 1969, Wendy’s is named after a nickname for his daughter Melinda.
Thomas started franchising Wendy’s just a few years after opening the first location in Columbus, Ohio. It now has thousands of locations in the U.S., as well as units in dozens of other countries.
Wendy’s more recently expanded its digital ordering and delivery platforms, and it has a partnership with Reef Kitchens to open in that company’s mobile vessels, primarily in Canada and the United Kingdom.
